We aim to be the gold standard for scientifically grounded assessments and development plans. The clearest single insight to emerge from the research was that participants’ support for the NDDA was dependent on the meaningful involvement of people with disability in the Asset’s design, governance and operation.People Lab is a collaboration between Wharton People Analytics and the Anne and John McNulty Leadership Program that connects research practice, education, and community to advance the science of assessment and individual development through data-driven insights.ĭesigned for students and working professionals at all stages of their careers, People Lab is a digital ecosystem with three interconnected components: a secure digital platform that serves individual learners, educators, and researchers, a series of unique assessments that are administered through the People Lab platform, based on cutting-edge science from some of Penn’s most distinguished faculty, and a bank of educational resources to fuel each user’s independent learning and development. 
The Lab’s interviews and workshops identified participants’ hopes that the NDDA will improve the quality and availability of data about people with disability, and that this improved data will be used to create positive change for people with disability. Further data collected by communities, researchers and service providers is intended to be linked in later phases.
It intends to do this by linking de-identified data across a range of domains including education, health, justice and employment. The NDDA is an ambitious initiative involving federal, state and territory governments that aims to better understand the experiences of people with disability. This report captures the perspectives of 40 members of the disability community to the idea of a National Disability Data Asset (NDDA) in Australia.
